Kalen Allen Does ASMR with Cornbread Mix and Pickles, Talks 'Ellen' & Debut Movie

All you have to do is type in 'Kalen' and you'll automatically become bombarded with the 23-year-olds hilarious food reaction videos. With over 1 million followers on Instagram and to special appearances on Ellen you might as well cancel your tv subscription if you dont know who this guy is. 

Back in 2017, with one of his "Kalen Reacts" videos of gentrified cornbread he was able to captivate millions of people around the world including none other than Ellen DeGeneres. The daytime host invited the Kansas City native to her nationally syndicated talk show, which ultimately led to a contract with the award winning television show. We couldn't think of any reasons not to have the hilarious actor and "Beyoncé specialist" on this edition of Mind Massage. 

The Temple University alumnus was like many college students; long hours of studying, holding jobs and trying not to drown in the college atmosphere...until one day. 

"There I was laying in the bed and I was scrolling through my cute little Facebook, when I saw this sponsored ad," he whispers before opening a box of cornbread mix. "I pulled out my handydandy cellphone and I pressed record, and baby the rest was history"

While still reacting to food, Kalen also reacting to some of the most talked about events including The Met Gala, New York Fashion Week and The Golden Globes. It didn't take long for him to grab the attention of the ridiculous funny Seth Rogen, who Kalen is working with in his debut movie. 

"I'm actually getting to do what my degree gave me...It currently doesn't have a title but we call it the Untitled Pickle Comedy." You know we had to whip out the pickles but the gag was... you got to watch the full clip above to see it.
