From hits such as "I Like Girls" to "Feelings" and to his "Unforgettable" freestyle, PnB Rock continues to prove himself as one of the top, multifaceted rappers. While the Philly native has only had a couple of years in the professional music game, he continues to break records including his 5 'Hot 100' Billboard charting songs and his debut #1 rap album. We thought it would only be right to introduce our new 'Wreckreation' segment with the 'TrapStar Turnt PopStar'.
With an upcoming tour, a dual-sided chart topping album and more, you could say PnB Rock is stressed...but in a good way. "I'm in a happy space right now," the 27-year-old says.
Our own Lee Chin sat down with the "MIDDLE CHILD" rapper to relieve some stress in a New York City break room because in our opinion, there's nothing breaking shit cant fix, right? "I needed this," the "Selfish" rapper says.
The two discussed everything from their pet peeves, music process and the "Go To Mars" rapper even revealed his most personal track on the album.
"That same morning I came home from jail, one of my close friends got shot 19 times, and was killed," he told Fuse. "It was stressful, I was dealing with all this legal and family shit and instead of me doing some crazy shit like this, I just went to the studio and just talked about everything I wanted to get, and that was that song, "Now or Never 2.0". To let out the anger he had prior to releasing "Now or Never 2.0" we let PnB Rock wild out in our break room which included him smashing a plasma screen tv, a printer and more!
Who else needs to release some stress in a wreck room after a long stressful day? Make sure you go listen to 'TrapStar Turnt PopStar' and be sure to check out more of your favorite artists on our YouTube channel!
