Fresh Off The Stage With A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie At Lollapalooza 2018

Fresh off his set at Lollapalooza we caught up with Billboard Hot 100 artist, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. The New York native–who is most known for his hit "Drowning"–could feel the crowd's energy before he even hit the stage.

"Before I even got the chance to see the crowd, I heard nothing but screaming. By the time I hit the f**king stage, they were whyllin," he says.

While thousands of fans were screaming for the Bronx rapper at the highly anticipated Chicago fest, that was not always the narrative.

After moving back to New York from Florida, he lost focus in music and started to hang with old friends and regain some bad habits.

However, the Highbridge rapper is more focused on music than ever. After taking over streams on Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal with songs such as "My S**t", "Horses", and "Beast Mode" the rapper continues to modify his sound to give the people what they want.

"One style that I love is the acoustic sound. I love how I sound of guitars," he says.

It seems like there are no days off for the BX rapper. With the recent release of his music video "Best Friend" featuring Tory Lanez, the songwriter is already working on new music.
