Cam Kirk Talks ATL, Photography, Trap Music and More

ATL–the location where Trap Music was born– is known for the craft it produces. While big artists such as The Migos, Gucci Mane, and Andre 300 were all birthed in the "A-Town", 29-year-old photographer and videographer Cam Kirk also calls the "Peach State" home. Fuse sat with the all star photographer as a part of Hip-Hop at 45 to discuss perfecting his craft, trap music, and his duty to Atlanta.

I mean...who hasn't Cam Kirk shot? The Maryland native has worked with a variety of outlets and has worked with every artist we turn up to including Future, Jeezy, Young Thug, and Lil Yatchy.

After much success with publications such as–Complex, Fader, and Vice–the Morehouse College alumnus opened "Cam Kirk Studios" which sits directly across from notable strip club, Magic City.

While his studio is self-titled, the studio is for all.

"I feel like it's my duty, with every little bit of success I make off Atlanta and this culture to pay back for the next generation of kids," he says.

The well-known Atlanta studio, employs local college students, as well as, offers free studio times for creatives.

While Cam Kirk studios is only located in the A–he plans to open another studio in another state or country. Keep up with everything Cam Kirk by following him on Instagram. You never know the next studio could be in a location near you in the future.
