Galantis Talks 'Rich Boy' Vocalist, Returning to Coachella & New Music

Well-known for their dance hits "Runaway (U & I)" and "No Money," Galantis is still embracing their freedom to create music as they please, with no rules. Speaking to Fuse, Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklöw share details behind producing the vocals for their latest carefree single "Rich Boy."

"We started that song from the vocal from an 8-year-old girl and it became a single. We have a lot of kids on all the song, but they are mostly doing the 'heys!' she is the youngest lead."

Ahead of Coachella, Karlsson and Eklöw tell us how the valley music and art fest was their first gig ever. "We were nervous about that show," Karlsson says. But they're excited to return this year with hopes to premiere new music.

Despite their individual projects Galantis is a solid, dynamic pair and confirmed they are working on new music.

"It’s going to be a lot of singles then an album. Everything we’ve done so far has lead up to this; Miike Snow, Style of Eye. And those two projects will continue, but you know Galantis is keeping us really busy right now and we’re loving it so you know we are not going anywhere."

Below, watch a throwback Lollapalooza interview with Miike Snow where they talk about their remixes and playing at Jay Z's Made In America Festival:
