Russ Talks Touring & Seeing 'How Many Real-Life People You Affect'

While 24-year-old Russ is a pro at delivering new music, the Fuse First artist also recognizes the huge importance of hitting the road. "The touring aspect of an artist's career, to me, is one of the most important, if not the most important aspects in regards to your longevity," the singer-songwriter-producer tells us in the interview clip above. "The ones who can really sell hard tickets by themselves and go on a tour and sell it all out, those are the top people."

Russ also loves giving concertgoers insight into his songs, and seeing the mutually powerful relationship live and in person:

"You realize how many real-life people you affect. Doing meet and greets and you see people crying. That's what gets me amped at a show, is like when I'll be rapping or singing, I'll look at someone who's like, I can tell they're just overwhelmed with joy. Like how I began about my favorite artists and shit."
