Sum 41 Compare Dave Baksh's Band Departure to a Shampoo Commercial: Watch the Classic 2007 Interview

For Class of 2007 Week, Fuse is celebrating all the greatest things culture gave us exactly one decade ago. Prior to Sum 41's 2007 release of their fourth album Underclass Hero, guitarist Dave Baksh decided to leave the group (the first LP he wasn't featured on). The remaining members shared how they found out the news during their appearance on former Fuse show The Sauce.

Apparently Baksh never likes to use the phone, so when bandmate Tom Thacker received the call he already knew what he was going to say. While Thacker and Deryck Whibley were cool about the news, Jason McCaslin was "absolutely destroyed." "Dave's happy, we're happy. It's refreshed and rejuvenated...it's like a shampoo commercial," Thacker exclaimed.
