After DJ Khaled claimed "I Feel Like Pac / I Feel Like Biggie," as he did in a cut off his 2013 album Something About Success, the super-producer says that the song is his way of honoring two of the MCs he calls "the best ever," the latter of whom, the Notorious B.I.G., we lost on March 9, 1997, just 19 years ago today.
"It's showing love to the greatest," he tells Fuse. "We said, 'I feel like Pac, I feel like Biggie.' We didn't say 'I am Pac, I am Biggie.' It's like feeling like Michael Jordan or feeling like Obama...It's paying homage, at the same time it's keeping it street and keeping it hip-hop."
After you watch Khaled pay tribute, watch Biggie's widow Faith Evans recall her memories of the MC's Ready to Die album, and how she sees him in their son, Christopher Wallace Jr.
