Interview: Ben Folds At Bonnaroo 2015

Ben Folds is such an enigmatic character in the music industry. As a young kid and MTV devotee I recall thinking that "Brick" was just too sad and slow, but in the years following I learned that the coolest nerd-advocate of his generation, was actually an extremely versatile musician. When he's not playing piano ballads, he's famously covering hip hop songs like "Bitches Ain't Shit," collaborating with Jim Henson's intellectual property, and most recently bringing a classical sextet on tour as his backing band.

While Ben breezed through Manchester with his friends in yMusic we tripped him up for just a moment to pick his brain about who he'd like to see at Bonnaroo, what it's like to make pop records with classical musicians, and his latest tour.
