Kelly Clarkson announced her return a couple weeks ago with "Heartbeat Song," and now we've got our hands on the video. Judging from the clip's tearful opening moments, you might think the tune should've been called "Heartbreak Song." Breakups are in the air, and Kelly's trying to keep things positive by dancing around in a soft, glowy rainbow room.
Eventually the lonely hearts wind up finding new matches—with some man/man and woman/woman love in the mix—and everyone lives happily ever after. 13 years after winning American Idol's first season, Kelly Clarkson still knows how to make us feel great.
Piece by Piece, Clarkson's seventh album and her first since 2011's Stronger (not counting 2013's Christmas record Wrapped in Red) is due March 3. It's also her first album since becoming a mom; baby River was born a year ago this June.
