If you've ever been curious about what Wiz Khalifa would look like if you watched him through the Photobooth X-Ray filter on your iMac, now you know! (Sort of.)
Wiz dropped his new video for "Raw," the latest Blacc Hollywood track to get the film treatment, and unlike most Wiz productions, this one came with a warning label. Three seconds into the video and you can see why: Wiz and the unfolding scenes are shot in disjointed, black-and-white frames that make you feel like you're actually there in the moment at whatever show he's throwing.
The lazer-like lighting effects are a bit intense, but it works for "Raw." (Just be careful if you're sensitive to strobe lights, as the vid above can trigger seizures.)
It's been a busy season for Wiz, who's been churning out videos and unexpected takes on tunes with exceedingly different vibes between them. Before "Raw," Snoop Dogg and Ty Dolla $ign joined him for "You And Your Friends," and he dropped a surprising freestyle before the New Year. Keep the productivity goin' in 2015, Wiz!
