Joe Budden's New EP 'Some Love Lost' Isn't A Mushy Love Story

Fresh off the release of his brand-new EP, Some Love Lost, Joe Budden stopped by Trending 10 to chat about his new project, why he's so obsessed with love, and even chat a bit about his work with hip-hop supergroup Slaughterhouse–check out the full interview above!

"It's a love story, it's a concept EP," Budden says about Some Love Lost, which dropped just yesterday. "And it's a different twist on love–I don't mean R&B, mushy love. It's aggressive, it's aggressive love. It's man love."

As intense as he is about his own music, Budden also contributed his talents to a couple new Slaughterhouse songs for release on the upcoming compilation album Shady XV. 

"We try to do what's best for the music, best for the song," he says in regards to working with his groupmates Crooked I, Joell Ortiz and Royce da 5'9". "We're past the stage with having to compete with one another. Each of us are phenomenal in our own rights."
