T.I. Reflects on His Role in Atlanta Hip-Hop

T.I. is a busy man–his ninth studio album, Paperwork, dropped last week via Columbia, and the rapper is currently developing the concept for a trilogy of albums. He stopped by Trending 10 to tell us how Paperwork kicks off that trilogy. 

"The theme or concept is the synergy between classic, nostalgic-sounding, soulful approaches to music, mixed with futuristic approaches to lyricism," he said about the album.

The Atlanta native also talks to host Bridget Kelly about the other two parts of his upcoming trilogy, his role in helping break out artists from his hometown, and Pharrell's involvement in Paperwork.
