Does the Black Keys' Dan Auerbach have healing powers?
The band's new video for "Fever" suggests so. The '80s infomercial vibe finds Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney acting as televangelists, asking their congregation for donations and preaching "the fever."
For the most part, Carney stays in the background—this show's about Auerbach and his faith-based power. But curiously flashing across the screen is a phone number where viewers at home can call in with their own donations.
We called just to see what would happen, but we could barely make out a recording of someone calling up their label Nonesuch and asking for a record deal.
The Keys' new album, Turn Blue, hits May 13.
