Queen Latifah on Singing at Super Bowl & Her Plans to Party With Prince

With millions watching her, Queen Latifah nailed a gospel-inspired rendition of "America the Beautiful" to kick off Super Bowl XLVIII. Her confidence on the field probably stems from the fact that she's done this before: She performed the patriotic classic at the Super Bowl XLIV and made an appearance in the Super Bowl XXXII Halftime Show in 1998.

Sunday at the stadium for Super Bowl XLVIII, the Queen herself tells Fuse her tips for performing at the most-watched TV event of the year.

"Each Super Bowl is unique and special in its own way," the veteran tells Fuse host Esteban Serrano. "But it is the Super Bowl. So, every time it is at that highest level that you want to do a great job. You want everybody firing on all pistons—hair makeup, wardrobe, everything—you want everything to go right."

And with yet another Super Bowl performance under her belt (not to mention marrying 33 people live on the GRAMMYs just last Sunday), Latifah tells Fuse what's next on her bucket list: "Hanging out with Prince, hopefully later!"
