When Fuse caught up with Blondie on Super Bowl Blvd., the New Wave pioneers were adamant that the death of quality contemporary music has been greatly exaggerated. "I hear people say there's no good music anymore," co-founder Chris Stein scoffs. "That's insane!" drummer Clem Burke agrees. Stein continues: "There's as much good stuff out there now as there has ever been."
Speaking of great music, Blondie are celebrating their 40th anniversary this spring with the release of Blondie 4(0) Ever, a two-disc release that includes their new album Ghosts of Download and a greatest hits album. Debbie Harry tells Fuse what fans can expect with this release: "A lot of laughs and dancing everywhere. Dancing on the rooftops, in the streets and behind the steering wheel."
