Pharrell on GRAMMY Noms: "I Share Them With the People"

Short of Jay Z, no one had a bigger night at the recent Grammy nominations announcement than Pharrell, who walked away with seven nominations. But when Fuse News caught up with the prolific hitmaker in Hong Kong, he was quick to spread the good news around.

"As much as I am so thankful to be acknowledged, you gotta look at all those songs and all the people who were involved," said Pharrell. "They're responsible for my being able to have those seven nominations. I'm only as good as my collaborators."

Pharrell also noted that you (yes, you!) were also involved in those nominations.

"It's also the people who reacted and responded to the songs when they didn't have to," said the singer/producer. "The people who bought, requested, streamed, voted and shared those songs with their friends share a portion of the acknowledgements. Am i proud of those seven nominations, yes? But I share them with you."
