New Found Glory Talk Recording 'Kill It Live': "Kids Lost Their Minds"

Fuse News caught up with pop-punkers New Found Glory at Voodoo Fest, and the boys opened up about recording their first live album, the aptly-titled Kill It Live.

"We thought it was time to finally do it," guitarist Chad Gilbert said about releasing a live album after 16 years together as a band.

"In punk rock, I feel like the legendary [venues] aren't big, they're small," Chad continued. "So we went to Chain Reaction—it's more like the west coast CBGB's—which is an all ages venue in Orange County. We booked two nights there... It was just a 400 capacity room for two nights with kids losing their minds."

Check out what else NFG had to say in Fuse's interview above, including what it's like touring with Alkaline Trio and what advice they have for kids coming up in their own punk bands.

Kill It Live is out now.
