Nine Inch Nails Get Funky in Network TV Debut
Trent Reznor's Nine Inch Nails appeared on Dance Party USA in the '80s and at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards, but his band has never, ever graced a major TV network. Until now. Thursday night, the revamped band played a R&B-styled rendition of Hesitation Marks track "All Time Low," complete with funk bass and soulful backup singers, on Jimmy Live Live!—and it's awesome and totally worth the 25-year wait.
