Eminem Resurrects Monica Lewinsky, Super Mario Bros. in "Rap God" Video
While Eminem's video for "Berzerk" continues to fight with Katy Perry's "Roar" for Fuse's Top Video of 2013, the Detroit rapper released a video for latest single "Rap God," channeling icons from the 1980s and '90s.
Opening with an homage to '80s artificial intelligence character Max Headroom, Eminem's latest clip then unleashes a six-minute, chorus-free rap with various references from the track appearing onscreen. Em positions rappers like Tupac, Busta Rhymes and N.W.A. alongside past cultural touchstones like Monica Lewinsky, even throwing a gleeful nod to Super Mario Bros.
