When we caught up with Patterson Hood at Austin City Limits, he was nice enough to share his Top 5 Rock and Roll books with us, but we also wanted to find out more about who he was excited to see at the festival and get details on his new album Heat Lightning Rumbles in the Distance.
While The Drive-By Truckers singer admitted that Heat Lightning was a personal album, he insists that he didn't want to get too deep. "It's not yucky. I don't want to make a record that's like, 'Gross, I don't want to know that about him.' Some people get too introspective." Check out the video above for the full details.
