Recap The ALMAs 2018

Fuse is thrilled to announce the return of the ALMAs! This live, vibrant and distinctly modern celebration of Latino tastemakers will honor the most impactful, torch-bearing figures in music, entertainment and politics. And this year won’t be your traditional awards show. We’re gonna give you a brand new, mega-watt, star-studded party with live musical performances and special presentations.

The ALMAs 2018 also coincides with the 50th anniversary of UnidosUS (formerly La Raza), the nation’s largest Latinx civil rights and advocacy organization. UnidosUS lauched the ALMA Awards in 1995 (then known as the Bravo Awards) to recognize and pay tribute to realistic and balanced portrayals of Latinx people in the entertainment industry.

Viewers won’t find entertainment, culture, and a celebration of diversity like this anywhere else! As the ALMAs is the only nationally-telecast, English-language show recognizing crucial and historic accomplishments of Latinx artists and media makers.

Stay tuned to find out who will host this year—joining the ranks of past hosts Eva Longoria, Selena Gomez, Mario Lopez, and others—as well as honorees and performers!

Join us in applauding the significant role Latino artists play in America today, and honor the varied and impactful contributions they’ve made to American culture. Be sure to tune in to The ALMAs 2018 on November 4, 2018 at 8p ET / 5p PT only on Fuse! Find your channel with Fuse's channel finder.
