The 2017 Alternative Press Music Awards are coming, and now we know who to root for. The fourth annual ceremony features nominees from "a very diverse pool of artists, probably the most diverse we've ever had,” says AP founder/CEO Mike Shea. This year's APMAs, presented by Journeys and Monster Energy, will bring two new categories, Best Hard Rock Artist and Best New Artist Video.
Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack, a.k.a. Andy Black, is hosting the show in addition to having his solo work nominated for Song of the Year and Album of the Year. The 2017 APMAs will be broadcast live on July 17 from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio; voting is open to fans through June 30, and ticket info is here.
