2017 GLAAD Media Award Nominees: Lady Gaga, Frank Ocean, Against Me! & More

The GLAAD Media Awards announced their 2017 nominees list on Tuesday. With the Outstanding Music Artist growing from five nominees to 10, we're seeing love for a broad range of artists including Tegan and Sara, Against Me!, Frank Ocean, Sia, Blood Orange, Lady Gaga. (Plus, via The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again's nod for Outstanding TV Movie or Limited Series, some recognition for the work of musicians Adam Lambert and Christina Milian.) The Outstanding Comic Book category also jumped up to 10, with potential winners including Saga, Black Panther, Lumberjanes and All-New X-Men.

The event's 28th annual installment will unfold in two ceremonies, one in L.A. on April 1, the other in NYC on May 6. Here's what GLAAD president and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis had to say about this year's contenders:
