Frank Ocean Will Headline 2017 Festivals in the U.S. and Europe

Update II (4:15 p.m.): Frank Ocean has added a second 2017 U.S. date, as he'll headline Washington's Sasquatch! Festival, taking place May 26-28.

Update (12:50 p.m.): Frank Ocean is returning to the U.S., too! Consequence of Sound reports that the singer will headline Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, Ala., taking place May 19-21 as well as Panorama in New York City.

Original story (10 a.m.): Frank Ocean will officially make his return to the big stage, with the announcement of his first festival performances since 2014. The singer is booked to headline two gigs next summer: London's Lovebox at Victoria Park July 14 and Denmark's NorthSide in Aarhus on June 9.

The news comes after Ocean gave his first official interview with the New York Times earlier this month, where he discussed why he decided to not submit any music for Grammys consideration, leaving Def Jam and self-releasing the Blonde album in August. When asked about if he cared about sales, the singer hinted at upcoming gigs.
