Holy headbanging hell: Babymetal have scored a gig as openers for one of rock's most iconic bands, Red Hot Chili Peppers, for the California act's first U.K. concerts in five years. (Their new album The Getaway was also a half-decade-later comeback.)
Babymetal released their second album, Metal Resistance, in March. Their J-pop/metal fusion has taken them to No. 39 on the Billboard 200, the stage of Late Show with Stephen Colbert and into Rob Zombie's heart. Per Blabbermouth, Babymetal's album made it to No. 15 on the U.K. albums chart, so you know England and Scotland are ready to rock.
