After Gov Ball Cancellation, Prophets of Rage Relocate Concert

UPDATE (6/5, 5:00 PM): Yesterday it was announced that Prophets of Rage would give a surprise performance at the final day of Governors Ball 2016, but following inclement weather the set has been canceled. The supergroup has rescheduled their performance at a new location: Warsaw, in Brooklyn, NY. The concert is on a first-come, first-served basis. Find information on the Prophets of Rage show below.

Original story (6/4, 5:45 PM): Prophets of Rage—the supergroup consisting of members of Rage Against the MachinePublic Enemy, and Cypress Hill—have announced a live set at Governors Ball 2016

The all-star ensemble made their debut live performance earlier this week in Los Angeles with a pair of shows at Whiskey a Go Go (May 31) and at the Hollywood Palladium (June 3). Prophets of Rage will be rocking the Bacardi House Stage on the festival’s closing day at 6:30 p.m.

Prophets of Rage intend to “cause a ruckus” at this July’s National Republican Convention held in Cleveland, Ohio. Speaking with Rolling StoneTom Morello stated, “We’ve come back to remind everyone what raging against the machine really means.”
