Sinéad O’Connor Thanks Fans as Facebook Reactivated
Sinéad O’Connor’s Facebook page was deleted last Wednesday, Dec. 2, following a message announcing having taken an overdose and another targeting family members allegedly keeping her from her children.
Two days later, it was reactivated; on Sunday, the singer thanked her fans, sharing a video of Jimi Hendrix performing “Wild Thing” in Paris in 1967:
“This is also for you all kind strangers who are always for some reason so loving to me (along with old God) despite my being a total twat. But especially its for everyone here in the hospital. Staff and patients. Kindest mother-effin’ mother-effers a female ever was lucky enough to fall upon; and for Lord Edward Street Family Services. Angels. Archangels. Thank you Lord God.”
