FUSE TV - Big Freedia Announces Nationwide 'Just Be Free' Fall Tour
The second season of Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce may be coming to a close tonight, but Big Freedia's only getting started on what's sure to be an epic bounce explosion.
The Queen Diva announced that she's taking her show on the road for an extensive 20-date tour that'll send bounce music coast to coast. Freedia will join a handful of incredible artists on the road at multiple festivals, in addition to playing her own headlining gigs everywhere from Hawaii to New England. She'll wrap things up with what's sure to be an explosive set at New Orleans' own Voodoo Music Experience on Halloween, ending the tour in her hometown on one of the rowdiest holidays to face the city after Mardi Gras.
The Just Be Free Tour, named after Freedia's debut album, is being dedicated to her mother, Vera Louise Mason Ross-Johnson. "It's a sensitive time for me," Freedia says. "And that makes for a lot of emotion that I will bring to the stage."
