Weezer's 'Everything Will Be Alright in the End' To Be Released October 7
UPDATE (8/21): Though it was initially announced that Everything Will Be Alright In The End would see its release on September 30, Weezer have bumped the record's drop date to October 7. From their Tumblr: "Today we are pumped to share with you the good news that the recording sessions for EWBAITE are finished, and finished on time as planned. However, we’ve unfortunately learned some additional news that’s not so cool - We have to release EWBAITE one week later than planned, on Oct 7. This is a bummer and we really hate to make our fans wait longer. We worked very hard to finish the album on time for you, so we’re really sorry about this and hope you understand."
Original Story: The best thing that could ever happen in the entire Weezer-verse has happened! The boys are back with their follow-up to 2010's Hurley, as they unveiled Everything Will Be Alright In The End via YouTube today.
The clip is fairly cryptic and not dissimilar from the other teasers the power pop-punk has been dropping. It's black and white, shows distorted images of the guys in the in the studio. The name of the record flashes near the end, but there's no set release time. Here's hoping for sometime soon. Like tomorrow.
