FUSE TV - Drake, Canadian Rockers Hedley Lead 2014 MMVA Nominations

The 25th MuchMusic Video Awards return June 15 in Toronto and today the nominees were announced. Drake and Hedley lead the pack with six nominations each, with hip-hop artist SonReal close behind with five MMVA noms. Arcade Fire and the Weeknd both received four. 

Each of those acts will compete head-to-head for the night's top prize, "Video of the Year." 

Some very familiar faces are nominated for "International Video of the Year Artist": Miley Cyrus, Pharrell, Lorde, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez will compete in that category. In the "International Group Video of the Year," Mumford & Sons, One Direction, Maroon 5, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Kings of Leon will go at it. 

Nominees Imagine Dragons and Lorde are scheduled to perform at the event. For a full list of the nominees, check out the MMVAs site here.
