The song, titled "Katy Perry," is structured around a haunting—dare we say gothic—synth line. Based God chants "Call me Katy Perry" in the chorus and references her songs with lines like "Shout out to all the girls that kiss girls."
Apparently Perry is all about the single, calling it a "lovely #rare lullaby." The pair had a twitter back and forth, Perry writing "Be my prom date @LILBTHEBASEDGOD." The rapper responded with, "@katyperry i feel like its highschool again katy and i missed my prom so it wud mean alot, thank you love u have a good day - Lil B"
