O-Town Reunite, Tease First New Music in 12 Years
Great news for nostalgia fetishists: Everyone's favorite Floridan boy band, O-Town, have reunited! The group made the announcement today via their official website, teasing new music in a minute-and-a-half YouTube clip.
After forming on MTV's Making the Band reality series, O-Town released a hugely successful debut album that spawned the hits "All or Nothing" and "Liquid Dreams." They disbanded in 2003 following the release of their second album, with only Ashley Parker Angel moving on to any solo success.
Now, 11 years later, the band is back together... minus one Angel. "We started this reunion purely for the fun of it," Jacob Underwood told Billboard. "We had discussed a summer tour to perform our old songs and finally give the fans what they’ve been asking us for the last 10 years. The ideas kept flying and we couldn’t help but start making new music. We are blessed to be able to apply what we’ve learned to create something stimulating and beautiful, that we can call ours. This isn’t just a reunion for us. It’s a new beginning."
Now when will we see the return of Making the Band?
