Update, March 16: The Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne has clued fans in on what the two are working on with a second Instagram shot of Miley Cyrus. This time the "Wrecking Ball" singer is glammed up with jewels, with a caption that reads: "Miley in the studio vomiting diamonds while singing Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds!! If you're a Beatles and John Lennon freak you gonna love love love this track!! Got Andrew from MGMT too!!!!”
When Miley Cyrus sings that she "can't stop/won’t stop," she’s not kidding. Not only is she currently full-throttle into her Bangerz Tour, but she's also recording new music.
In case you missed it: A couple of weeks ago The Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne and Cyrus dueted during her L.A. concert, singing The Flaming Lips 2002 classic "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Pt. 1". It turned out to be a pretty awesome live performance, and now we know that these two are also working together off the stage.
Coyne Instagrammed a picture with the caption "Recordin with Miley." And although the image didn't show them actually recording, they’re definitely in a studio having a lot of fun.
