FUSE TV - Nicki Minaj Goes to War in New "Lookin Ass N***a" Video
Nicki Minaj has been on a warpath since the start of the year, ripping off serrated freestyles as she builds up anticipation for her upcoming 2014 album Pinkprint. Today brings an electric new single and video called "Lookin Ass N***a," which will be featured on the upcoming Young Money compilation Rise of an Empire and perhaps her own project as well.
Directed by famed visual artist Nabil, the video finds Minaj twisting on a chair in a desert as previewed extensively on her Instagram last week. Intermittently, she shoots machine guns into the air, because that's about where she's at right now.
Visually it recalls Grimes' "Genesis," though conceptually the track is a clear descendant of Hotstylz' smack-talking one-hit wonder "Lookin Boy." They wouldn't want it with Nicki, though.
