Foster the People Tease New Music
Foster the People have been quiet since dominating 2011 with their debut album Torches and inescapable single "Pumped Up Kicks." But now the group have announced their return to music with a new 45-second clip of a new song.
On New Year's Eve, the band tweeted, "We're back. Here's a glimpse of 2014," along with a link to the video above. The brief clip presumably previews a new song from the L.A. rockers, which sounds like the same new song the band performed at 2013's Firefly Music Festival. "Feels like we're coming of age," Mark Foster sings as the trio explores various locations.
Foster recently told Rolling Stone that the band's new single will hit radio this month, and that their Torches follow-up is "not the record that people are gonna expect us to release."
"It's definitely an evolution for us," Foster continued. "It's a more polarizing record for us, so I'm excited to see how it's received, for better or worse."
