Days before Britney Spears is set to release her eighth studio album Britney Jean, little sister Jamie Lynn has also dropped new music. But if you think it's the chewy electro-pop Britney's famous for, well, think again.
Brit's lil' sis, known for starring on hit Nickelodeon show Zoey 101 (and becoming pregnant at 16 in 2007), makes her musical debut with the tender country ballad "How Could I Want More." The lyrics would be right at home on a Taylor Swift album ("Treats me like a princess / Let's me have it my way... / All he does is love me / Swears that's what he's here for"). The track has the same country-pop style as the "22" singer, delivered with a bit more twang.
Until today, the last news about Jamie Lynn's music career came in November 2011, when she performed a few surprise showcases in Nashville, and revealed that a country album was in the works. Watch her perform "I Look to You," a song rumored to be about her big sis, from the showcase right here.
Jamie Lynn's music career will also get a boost with an appearance on Britney Jean via a new track "Chillin' With You." No word whether it will be a country duet, but check out everything we do know about Britney Jean here.
