L.A. DJ/Producer The Gaslamp Killer Shows Off Vinyl Collection in 'Crate Diggers'
Earlier this month, we gave you a status update on animated Los Angeles DJ/producer The Gaslamp Killer, who nearly died in a scooter accident in July. Now it's time to go into the Brainfeeder artist's personal vinyl collection in the latest episode of Crate Diggers.
The producer, who co-founded the popular weekly Low End Theory parties in 2006, shares how Guns N' Roses, Too $hort, a vegan Indian restaurant and seeing punk bands at age 11 all shaped his musical pedigree. Check out the video above to learn about obscure Turkish funk, music for plants and rare Flying Lotus test pressings, among many others.
The Gaslamp Killer returns to the Low End Theory for their seven-year anniversary on Wednesday, October 16.
