Joe Jonas Eyes Acting Gigs as JoBros Drama Worsens
The fate of the Jonas Brothers appeared to be in limbo after the trio cancelled their fall tour, citing a "deep, creative rift within the band." Thursday night, middle sibling Joe broke the silence, hinting at his future plans. Bad news, JoBro fanatics: It doesn't include his brothers.
"I think acting would be fun," the 24-year-old singer told People at a party in Beverly Hills. "I would like to [get into that]."
The reveal comes less than 48 hours after the official Jonas Brothers Twitter account was deleted, adding fuel to the rumor that the once chart-topping boy band may be kaput.
And there are more signs of trouble in the House of Jonas: Celebrity "addiction specialist, crisis consultant and interventionist" Mike Bayer—the "recovery manager" who helped Demi Lovato through her public health issues and rehab stay—was recently photographed with Joe and dad-to-be Kevin. No word if Bayer is a sober companion or just a plain-old companion.
For now, let's take it back to happier times when the JoBros told Fuse their rap names in a hilarious Intimate Interview.
