Chris Brown Enters Rehab
One day after his felony assault charges were reduced to a misdemeanor, Chris Brown has entered rehab, a rep for the singer tells Fuse.
"Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility," the rep said. "His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point."
The singer was charged with felony assault last week after he and his bodyguard got into a fight with a man following Brown's appearance at a club in Washington D.C.
According to a police report obtained by Associated Press, "a man attempted to get into a picture with Brown and two other people. Police say Brown told the man 'I feel like boxing.'" Brown allegedly punched the man, with another person in Brown's party punching him as well. Brown's lawyers were able to reduce the charge to a misdemeanor due to a police report typo.
In August, the singer was ordered to complete 1,000 hours of community service and had his probation reinstated by a judge following a June hit-and-run.
