Queen of Bounce Big Freedia already sounded off on Miley Cyrus' twerking skills (or lack thereof), saying the ex-Disney star "[doesn't have] any butt control" and "needs more practice." Now Iggy Azalea is also chiming in on TwerkGate '13, claiming to have inspired the "We Can't Stop" singer's booty bouncing. Thanks for that, Iggy.
The Australian rapper told Paper magazine that she's been twerking since Miley Cyrus was still Hannah Montana. "I've been doing that onstage for two-and-a-half years. [Miley] probably f-cking watched my videos online and decided to try it." Iggy's probably referring to the numerous YouTube uploads of her butt-dancing onstage—this clip has nearly 250,000 views.
According to our research, Miley claims she learned how to twerk while filming So Undercover in New Orleans in 2010. So it's possible that Miley has also been twerking for two-and-a-half years, just not publicly.
