FUSE TV - Perez Hilton Talks "Lady Gaga Lies" in the Face of Death Threats

Update: Lady Gaga released a statement on Born This Way Foundation's website distancing herself from fans who are cyber-bullying Perez Hilton: "Sending threats of any kind, using hateful or abusive language, and the provoking of others on the internet is not supported by me or anything that I stand for. What I’ve seen transpiring is wrong and upsetting to me."

The simmering feud between former pals Lady Gaga and Perez Hilton got ugly over the weekend. Although Gaga herself only tweeted one negative thing about the celebrity blogger—that he called her torn hip "Karma" and sent her a picture of Madonna pointing a gun at her—the angry Internet has taken the beef to a whole new level.

Scores of Twitter users spent the weekend assaulting Perez Hilton with death threats, gay slurs (very curious given Gaga's avid gay rights stance) and threats to kidnap his son. 

"I can't sleep. I am literally sick to my stomach. Not playing any f--king games here. I am afraid for my f--king safety and that of my son," Hilton tweeted. Despite that plea, numerous Twitter users continued with their onslaught of threatening tweets about his son and his personal safety. 

Hilton also posted "A Statement on Lady Gaga's Lies" on his website. Despite the length of the post, it didn't offer much insight into this confusing feud or explain why these former friends are now estranged.

Although Hilton denied sending Gaga the picture of her in a wheelchair with "karma" written over it (calling it a "very untrue allegation") he only had this to say about no longer being her buddy: "It is still too painful for me to go into detail about why I chose to no longer make her a part of my life."
