The mysterious countdown on Pearl Jam's website has ended, leading to a not-so-surprising (but totally kickass) revelation: Eddie Vedder & co. are dropping a new album this fall.
Lightning Bolt is the title of the grunge veterans' 10th album, which is slated to strike on October 15. But to tide you over, the Seattle outfit unveiled a new song, "Mind Your Manners," which you can listen to above. As you might expect from the track's Dead Kennedys-esque title, Pearl Jam veer into vintage punk on this blazing, straightforward rocker.
As previously announced, the band will also head out on tour in the fall. The trek kicks off in Pittsburgh on October 11, hits New Orleans' Voodoo Music Experience in early November and wraps up in their hometown on December 6. Check out the full tour dates below.
