The Justin Bieber's monkey drama was a saga of epic proportions, but the last chapter is looking pretty sweet. The Bieb's pet capuchin monkey, who was abandoned by the singer in Germany, is trading in private jets and all-night ragers for the quiet life at a zoo in northern Germany.
In case you are wondering what all this monkey business is about, here are the SparkNotes to the previous chapters you may have missed:
-March: The world falls in love with Lil' Mally after the Biebs posts an adorbs Instagram of his new pet baby capuchin monkey. Hours later the tiny primate is confiscated by German custom's when the popstar is unable to show paper work for his tiny friend.
-April: The "Boyfriend" singer raises the ire of shelter worker's caring for his now abandoned pet. "They are living creatures—not celebrity accessories like a handbag,”-Baby Mally vet.
-May: E-mails from camp Bieber are all like "Can't ya just throw him in a zoo or sumthin'?!" A spokesman for German customs announces that they will formally seize Justin Bieber's property but he better cough up the thousands of euros worth of care the monkey received on their watch.
-June: Mally has a new home!!!
Mally Bieber was transferred to Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen, Germany. He will face 25 days of quarantine before he can be released to roam with his new crew: three male and three female capuchin monkeys.
