Big Sean Recruits Lil Wayne & Jhené Aiko for New Single "Beware"
Detroit rapper Big Sean is in full promotional mode for Hall of Fame, his follow-up to 2011's Finally Famous dropping August 27. Following the releases of "Guap" and "Switch Up," we've got "Beware," the rapper's collaboration with Lil Wayne and singer Jhene Aiko.
The first 30 seconds of "Beware" showcase the song's myriad influences: The processed, lovelorn caution of Kanye's 808s and Heartbreaks; the cold synths, produced by Key Wane and Mike Dean, but sounding like the perfect beat for Future. The R&B flavor anchors Sean's "F-ck you" to an ex, while Weezy talks about "hos" and going down on girls because, hey, why not?
Take a listen above. And any Big Sean news is always a good excuse to remember the video below: A newscast highlighting anti-drug, pro-abstinence rapper Sean "Big Sean" Anderson. This never gets old.
