FUSE TV - AraabMuzik Shot During Robbery Attempt

Hip hop producer AraabMuzik—who has produced tracks for everyone from Busta Rhymes to Cam'ron to A$AP Mob—has been hospitalized after being shot during an attempted robbery Wednesday night.

According to a rep, "AraabMuzik is currently alive and well. He was out in his neighborhood last night with friends and unfortunately the victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is recovering now and police are investigating the crime."

Yesterday, Seattle rapper Avatar Darko tweeted, "Pray for my bro Araab! They tried to rob him and he ain't come up off his shit so they tried get him outta there! He meant to be here!" Wu-Tang Clan rapper Raekwon tweeted, "Wishing my young G AraabMuzik a fast recovery," while hip hop mogul Russell Simmons registered his disgust with the incident via Twitter: "Another member of the hip-hop community shot. This sh-t has got to stop."
