Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Deliver Hyperactive "Can't Hold Us" Performance on 'Conan'
Macklemore doesn't drink alcohol, but judging by his performance on Conan Thursday night night, the Seattle rapper might substitute in cases upon cases of Redbull. Dude straight owned the stage like a cross-fit instructor. Watch above.
During his performance of The Heist single "Can't Hold Us" with Ryan Lewis and guest Ray Dalton, Macklemore high-kicked, twirled and zipped across the stage. At one point he even jumped on top of Lewis' turntables; he only slowed his pace to let Dalton sing the smooth hook. Lewis joined in the fun, too, leaving his post behind the decks to run around onstage. After all, why should Macklemore have all the fun?
Macklemore and Co. have good reason to be all hyped-up: Their other The Heist single, "Thrift Shop," broke a Billboard chart record by spending 12 weeks at No.1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart (it toppled former record holder DJ Khaled's "I'm On One," which spent 11 weeks at No. 1).
Congrats guys!
