Will Justin Timberlake's 'The 20/20 Experience' Break 1 Million in Sales?
It looks like Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience will become one of the top selling albums of 2013.
According to Billboard, the album is projected to sell between 850,000 and 900,000 copies. JT’s Experience has been inching its way to the top; the projected sales jumped from 750,000 on March 20 to 800,000 on the 21st to 850,000 to 900,000 on the 22nd. As of Sunday, March 24, the album is now projected to sell 950,000. Nielsen SoundScan's tracking for an album's debut week ends tonight.
Sources are hesitant to project a million sold, but if the LP does, then The 20/20 Experience will be the first million-seller since Taylor Swift's Red, which moved 1.2 million and hit No. 1 last fall.
The LP is certain to hit No. 1, delivering Timberlake's second chart-topper after 2006's FutureSex/LoveSounds, which sold 684,000.
