Latin Pop Star Belinda Defies Gravity in 'Inception' Inspired Video
If you haven't heard of Belinda before, well, get ready for a new mononymous pop star in your life. The 23-year-old Spanish-born, Mexico City-raised singer is poised for a potentially big breakthrough with Catarsis, her upcoming album which—just to make matters even more internationally diverse—was recorded in Miami.
The album's second single, "En la Obscuridad," takes the Latin Pop singer into electro-pop territory with a joyful, plinky sound that brings to mind the hit Calvin Harris crafted for Rihanna.
The video, on the other hand, draws its inspiration from Inception, according to Belinda. Motivated by the power of love, she effortlessly prances around walls and ceilings with little regard for the law of gravity. Watch it above and prepare for her second Pitbull collabo coming sometime this spring.
