The moment we've been waiting, hoping, wishing and praying for since 2006 is finally, finally here: After an ominous warning posted to Twitter yesterday that simply said, "Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at 9:01 am PST..." Justin Timberlake has announced his return to music! But we still have to way three more days to hear it.
According to Billboard, fans can expect a full Justin Timberlake album sometime this year (!!!). The entire disc has reportedly been produced by Timbaland and the pair is believed to have about 20 tracks recorded.
Rumors of new Justin Timberlake music have been swirling since his last release seven years ago, the multi-platinum FutureSex/LoveSounds. JT lent a musical helping hand to various projects over the years, including writing and singing on tracks with 50 Cent, Ciara, Timbaland and Free Sol. He also spent some time getting married to actress Jessica Biel (but let's just pretend that part didn't happen).
